The power of positive thinking along with positive affirmations or power virtues are the building blocks to creating a positive and abundant mindset as well as a life filled with love, hope, purpose, and gratitude.

For most of our lives, we live in a state of negativity, depression, and anxiety. Our upbringing taught us to look out and protect. Naturally, our brains are hardwired for protection and safety, a scarcity mindset if you will. When we practice creating a positive mind shift, we can reprogram our brains and speak and act differently. If we see the world out of a place of love, it overshadows all the negative misery that we are subject to seeing every single day. Think abundantly!

Society has taught us that we need to compete with others, to do better, be better, look better; chasing other’s dreams, only to find it’s never enough and we lose ourselves, our identities, trying to conform to the societal norm. And when we don’t reach these dreams or goals we hear that voice, our inner critic loud and clear confirming we aren’t enough. The fears and limiting beliefs we’ve told ourselves throughout our lives, the “I told you-you wouldn’t, couldn’t, shouldn’t, etc.”

Once again, our ego, our image, our worth diminished, and we think “I am not enough.”This vicious cycle is self-destructive, harmful and abusive! Why do we allow ourselves to believe these lies?

“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”

― Mahatma Gandhi

When we practice speaking love and compassion, there is no room for negative self-talk. The next time you hear your inner critic speak, simply acknowledge it’s there. Maybe you might say “Hi, I remember you, but I don’t have the time, room or energy to deal with you. Go away.”

By doing so, we gain the power back! Where focus goes, energy flows. I am a true believer in this statement. I was a victim to this vicious, self-destructive cycle. I lived in a mental prison of fears and limiting beliefs, only to realize I was the one who created and believed it! Once I realized I had the key, I was able to regain the power and change my life. I started creating and living the life I was meant to live. I was free!

This video is absolutely beautiful in so many ways and I smile with pure joy. It reminds me of how important it is to speak with love and kindness not only to others but yourself first. If you do not love and respect yourself, how can you expect it from others? We are love! Hate takes more energy than love, and it is SO exhausting being hateful and negative all the time!

At a young age, this little girl is building her protective armor with self-love to stop the hate, limiting beliefs and negative self-talk she will encounter in life. She radiates with love and confidence. She knows the truth, her worth. She is courageous and she IS enough!

You Are Beautiful. You Are Loved. You Are ENOUGH!
